Parent's Commitment & Code of Conduct

- Support the team and program in a positive manner.

-Make Sure Student-Athletes arrive at Practices and Games on time. (Notify Coach if they will be late or absent)

-Make required payments in a timely manner.

-Treat coaches, parents, opposing athletes, referees, opposing team parents and each other with respect.

-Use appropriate language at all club functions.

-Encourage your student athlete to play by the rules.

-Never ridicule or shout at your child for making a mistake during games or practices.

-Attend as many club functions (basketball or social) as possible.

-Exhibit good sportsmanship at all times.

-If you cannot attend an event, allow other families to take your student athlete when possible.

-Set the example and tome for the student-athlete.

-Positively encourage student-athletes during games and at home.

-Support the team no matter how the game is going.

-Be positive and supportive when things are going well and even more positive and supportive when they are not.

-Let the coach focus on the game without interruption.

-Make only positive comments about any student-athlete at games or at home.

-Have Fun, enjoy the fact that your student-athlete is healthy enough to play and have fun.

-Do not try to coach your student-athlete between games.

-Encourage your child to participate in fundraising activities.

-Allow a 24-hour cool off period before discussing any complaint with a coach.

- Do not discuss, attempt to discuss or solicit any input about where their student-athlete plans on attending high school with any Cager Coach, Advisor or Director.
